De: neutron-bounces@neutronsources.org de la part de te Velthuis, Suzanne G.E. Envoyé: mercredi 5 septembre 2018 00:06 À: neutron@neutronsources.org Objet: [Neutron] Vacancy for Postdoctoral Researcher at Argonne National Laboratory Pièces jointes: ATT00001.txt There is an opening for a postdoctoral researcher in the Neutron & X-ray Scattering group of the Materials Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory, to work on the study of magnetic films and heterostructures. The emphasis of the work will be on studying interactions at interfaces of complex oxide heterostructures. The primarily research tool for studying these systems will be neutron scattering, particularly polarized neutron reflectometry. This will be complemented by x-ray techniques, such as X-ray magnetic dichroism, and in-house laboratory probes. The ideal candidate will have a background in experimental magnetic films basic research, such as a background in magnetism and film characterization by magnetometry, the use of laboratory magnetic fields, cryogenics, computer data analysis and modeling, structural characterizations and structure properties relationships. Independently pursuing research ideas, a track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and making conference presentations are all requirements. Interested candidates should email their CV directly to tevelthuis@anl.gov. Please include the contact information for 3 references in the CV.
